NUTRINATING THE SOULBy Divine wisdom

This is the area that functions as the main system of religious education and training of the Adventist Church. Sabbath School is considered the largest Bible school in the world and serves millions of students every Saturday through Bible study guides translated into several languages and available on five continents. Thus, Adventists from all over the world study the same topics weekly, with specific approaches for each age group, from newborns, through Kindergarten, Primary, Juniors and Adolescents, to Young People and Adults.

Sabbath School is also considered the structure for pastoring and mobilizing members to fulfill the local and global mission of the Church. It has at least two types of weekly meetings. The first takes place on Saturday mornings. Its objective is to deepen and debate the topic studied in its guides. The second is held during the week, in homes, in a small group format, to strengthen the fellowship and testimony of the students. Thus, in these meetings, Sabbath School provides opportunities for Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and talent development to assist in the missionary purposes of the Church.
