God is a God of order, as evidenced in His works of creation and redemption. Consequently, order is part of the essence of His church. Order is achieved through the principles and regulations that guide the church in its internal procedures and in the fulfillment of its mission in the world. In order to be a successful church organization in the Lord’s service to humanity, it needs order, government, and discipline.
